In the Workplace

Ensure your employees are focused and productive – in your busy warehouse or factory, office or lab.

Contextual Mobile Device Management: Creating Policy Flexibility

We know that your company is unique, and we know that your employees use mobile devices differently at different times. There are areas where distractions leave you open to accidents and legal exposure. That’s why TRUCE lets you set up what apps can and cannot be used based on your specific policies. Configurations can be based on:

Employee/Group

Someone working on the factory floor has different responsibilities and requirements than the person driving a vehicle. Groups can be configured as broadly or as specifically as you need, giving you flexibility and control.

Zones

Our app knows if an employee is in a Vehicle Zone, a Heavy Equipment Zone, or any dangerous Location Zone and automatically activates. It isn’t just a warning sign: it takes proactive enforcement of your policies to boost safety.

Activities

The TRUCE system can be configured to adapt to activities, and is smart enough to know when one activity has stopped. For example, you can set a policy for a driver, and have it only be active while they are driving.

Vehicle

Your employee is on the road for a few hours, whether that is on their commute or a delivery. You can help make sure they have their eyes on the road while in a company-owned vehicle.

Heavy Equipment

Cranes, forklifts, jackhammers- there is a lot of heavy equipment that needs attention. When employees are engaged in managed activities, you make sure that they stay focused on what matters.

On-Premises

On some worksites, there are a lot of moving parts, and attention and focus are key. When they are in this zone, the TRUCE app is activated, keeping their phones from buzzing and preventing habitual scrolling.

Un-Managed Zones

There are a lot of areas, times, and activities where TRUCE isn’t needed. We work everywhere we should, and never where we shouldn’t. That’s balance. That’s TRUCE.

Hold the Distractions

TRUCE makes using mobile phones behind the wheel or on the job safer for your employees and your company.

TRUCE Mobile App

Our mobile app can be easily installed on every employee mobile device, whether you use company devices or BYOD. It seamlessly works only in the zones or during the actions you think require more concentration and fewer distractions.

Our app can be configured for multiple zones across multiple devices. It can help you coordinate and understand actions, helping you to fine-tune your processes. It helps you manage app behavior when it needs to be, and never when it doesn’t.

It gives you control over mobile.

TRUCE Mobile Dashboard

Dashboard analytics are available to the employee on the mobile device which depicts the amount of time spent in different managed and unmanaged zones. This allows for a clear understanding of where their time is being spent throughout the work day and based on the type of work being performed in each zone, these insights start to offer opportunities for workflow optimization and workday efficiency.

  • How long is an employee in a managed zone?
  • How much time is spent in managed activities?
  • What does the last day look like? The last week? The last month?

This information gives you a clear look at your company’s workflow, helping you understand efficiences, redundancies, and where time can be better spent.

Passenger Mode: Machine Learning for a Better Human Experience

At TRUCE, we make sure that if a person isn’t driving they have full usage of their apps. We use the front and rear camera on the mobile device to determine position in the car. If they are in the passenger seat or backseat, the policy automatically shuts off. If they’re in the driver’s seat, we protect them from having their attention divided by their device.

What’s a Non-Managed Zone?

Non-Managed Zones represent time that is outside of an established managed zone. Non-Managed Zones could represent the time spent on a customer site for a sales or service rep, or in the case of a Forklift operator, the non-managed zone time could be used to show the duration that the forklift was not being operated throughout each day. This metric can offer valuable insight to help improve productivity throughout the workday.

TRUCE Management Console: Configure and Monitor Your Unique Policies

We know this sounds complicated: managing multiple policies across multiple devices on potentially multiple worksites (and even on the road). It’s not. Our management console generates rules that are active or inactive depending on employee, zone, and activity.

Built-in reports make it easy to modify policies, understand employee behavior, and get a fuller picture of what happens on every jobsite. It’s another way you can manage the mobile workforce.
