TRUCE is a disruptive, employee-first performance and safety platform that turns everyday iOS and Android devices into AI-powered edge computing full workday tools for field employees.
We envision a future where every mobile worker operates with clarity, autonomy, protection, and confidence — and every organization has the insight to prevent incidents and elevate performance. TRUCE protects and connects the modern workforce, delivering real-time, people-centered performance safety solutions wherever work happens.
TRUCE's mission is to advance company duty of care responsibility by protecting drivers in real time and extending workforce visibility, communication and incident management tools to the jobsite—replacing legacy vehicle-centric systems with a people-centered full workday platform.
Founded to eliminate device distraction at its source, Cellcontrol pioneered real-time mobile device control based on context. Today, as TRUCE Software, the company has evolved into a device-first safety and performance platform—expanding beyond distraction prevention to empower field employees, strengthen duty of care, and improve safety and performance on the road, on the job and in the workplace.
TRUCE Software recognized that modern mobile devices are engineered to demand constant attention—through notifications, alerts, and visual stimulation—while employees are expected to perform safely in high-risk environments like driving and field work.
Employees face tension between device compliance and staying focused on their work. While organizations monitored risk after incidents, no one removed the distraction itself. TRUCE puts employees first by suppressing unnecessary audible and visual disruptions at the source.
Today, TRUCE is an employee-first performance and safety platform that transforms iOS and Android devices into AI-powered telematics to protect employees in real time and extend safety and visibility beyond legacy vehicle-centric systems. It automatically creates jobsite sessions when vehicles stop, enabling live field visibility, location-based communication, escalation, and incident management—delivering continuous, people-centric insight whether employees are driving or working.
Every TRUCE capability exists to protect the performance and safety of people, prevent incidents, and create safer roads and incident free workplaces.
We believe lasting improvement comes from empowering individuals with the tools to work at the highest levels of performance and safety — not relying solely on data collection, exception management reports and demeaning counter-measures.
An employee-first platform that turns iOS and Android devices into AI-powered edge duty of care tools, protecting employees in real time on with people-centered driving and jobsite solutions.
TRUCE is built for the employee first by giving them the tools to prioritize and manage their personal road and workplace performance over surveillance and exception management. On the road, it delivers real-time policy enforcement, telematics and video insights, and personalized scoring & coaching. On the jobsite, Engage Plus automatically transitions to a critical event, mass notification, and crisis communication platform.
TRUCE is led by experienced technology, fleet, telematics, and workforce safety leaders solving real-world challenges for mobile organizations. We are building an AI-centric platform that powers the intelligence layer for the mobile-device workforce—improving performance, awareness, and human potential. We are helping people perform at their best while enabling organizations to continuously improve at scale.

Joe is a tinkerer and an inventor- he builds things that work. He placed in the top 10 in a nationwide automated trading competition while still in college. (Granted, he lost the prize money using the trading machine, but he’s still working on it…) He has 6-8 patents with another half-dozen still pending.
Joe has led the development of TRUCE’s entire product suite, providing both the technical nitty-gritty and the big picture. He loves the challenge of making mobile smarter and solving how to make a communication device less distracting, even though it is the nature of these devices to distract.
It’s also in the nature of video poker for the player to lose, but Joe figured out a way to beat that, too. He makes things work.
