Erik Hällström — Chief Executive Officer

Erik is an entrepreneur and business leader with a passion for innovative technologies. A native of Sweden, he started his career at the Boston Consulting Group where he advised a range of clients from multinational market leaders to innovative startups. As business executive, he has built a series of technology-enabled companies with particular focus on SaaS and mobile solutions.

Erik is true to his Nordic heritage, enjoys the outdoors and is equally comfortable on hiking trails and ski slopes. He calls Washington, DC home where he lives with his wife, daughter and yellow lab.

Joe Breaux — Chief Technology Officer

Joe is a tinkerer and an inventor- he builds things that work. He placed in the top 10 in a nationwide automated trading competition while still in college. (Granted, he lost the prize money using the trading machine, but he’s still working on it…) He has 6-8 patents with another half-dozen still pending.

Joe has led the development of TRUCE’s entire suite of products, providing both the technical nitty-gritty and the big picture. He loves the challenge of making mobile smarter, and solving how to make a communication device less distracting, even though it is the nature of these devices to distract.

It’s also in the nature of video poker for the player to lose, but Joe figured out a way to beat that, too. He makes things work.

Bethany Brownholtz — Marketing Director

Bethany leads Marketing at TRUCE across all channels. Her diverse career background includes project management, teaching, copywriting, corporate communications, and campaign management. Prior to TRUCE, she worked in higher education (Columbia College Chicago; Alder University) while consulting alongside a New York Times best-selling author and public figure. From there, she landed at the fascinating intersection of healthcare, education, and technology (Level Ex) where she promoted award-winning medical video games. She helped double their player base, launch three games and a virtual surgery platform, and earn a multi-year partnership with NASA to train astronauts for medical emergencies in space. Bethany is a collaborative, action-oriented creative who has been blessed to market services and products that make the world a better, safer place, culminating at TRUCE.

Kevin Clarke — CFO

Kevin is a seasoned finance executive who's been around many blocks. He started his career at Price Waterhouse, and since then has spent time building technology companies including; CareerBuilder, Envoy, Savo, PowerReviews, and most recently ItemMaster. Kevin brings extensive experience with building and scaling SaaS businesses, and ultimately making investors money.

An avid hockey player, you'll find Kevin on the ice a few times a week. Outside of this, he'll be spending time with his wife and two daughters in the West Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago.

Joe Reister — Vice President of Client Services

Joe Reister is the Vice President of Client Services at TRUCE Software, where he leads a dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional client experiences. With over 25 years in customer-focused roles, Joe excels in developing strategic solutions and fostering client relationships. His innovative approach has consistently driven client satisfaction and loyalty. Throughout his career, Joe has held leadership roles in customer support, solution engineering, project management, and customer relationship management. His diverse experience and strategic vision make him a key driver of TRUCE’s client success and organizational growth.

Kimlie Warlick — Director Global Strategic Alliances

Kimlie sets the bar at TRUCE with relationship building. Her 25-year career in technology began with some of the largest brands in the industry, including Verizon and Samsung, where she held leadership roles supporting overall B2B revenue growth.

Kimlie joined TRUCE in 2021 to serve as Director of Strategic Alliances for North America. Shortly after, she picked up global partnership responsibilities. Due to her unique and creative ability to navigate organizations along with her business development success, Kimlie leads telecom, hardware, and software relationships across TRUCE Software. The caliber of TRUCE’s partner alignments is a major differentiator for the company. Kimlie’s responsibilities include partner portfolio program initiatives—collaborating with large technology brands such as but not limited to Microsoft, Google, Apple, Samsung, Stratix, and Zebra, to create a channel for TRUCE products and services.
